ORGANIZATION FOR THE
PROTECTION OF BALGIA
The Organization for the Protection of Balgia (OPB) stands as one of the two primary military factions within the Razor Wire 11 simulation game. Tailored for airsoft teams and groups with a penchant for milsim aspects, OPB offers intense tactical missions and firefights.
OPB is a paramilitary organization dedicated to protecting the homeland and the civilian population from the invading fanatical religious hordes. Although you are not part of the regular army, you are well organized and equipped, and your goal is to counter True Faith and help the civilian rescuers. You tend not to care about fugitives, but if you meet one, you would rather help them too, though not necessarily, nor are you necessarily positively disposed to their cause.
Your game as part of OPB this year features heavily military-focused gameplay and a structured experience close to a real military operation. Be prepared for:
- Night Combat: expect intense battles under cover of darkness.
- Foot Patrols: navigate rugged terrain during field patrols.
- Traditional missions: engage in field control, protect the local population and support the civilian rescuers.
Expect an OP order written by real military personnel!
Q&A
Whether your faction has its own camp depends on faction leaders. You’ll discuss this in a dedicated Facebook group.
You may participate with your own off-road vehicle, but you should notify the organizers in advance via the faction’s Facebook group.
Specific rules will be emailed to all faction members.
While Razor Wire emphasizes more than just shooting, this edition allows for increased fire contacts and direct action against opponents from different factions, day and night.
Should your character fall, your faction’s unique rules will guide you.
The simulation’s difficulty level depends on your personal effort and that of your group. Experience the consequences of your physical and tactical training.
Navigating maps and reading MGRS coordinates is advantageous, especially for group commanders. Lack of these skills will impact your simulation experience.
Be ready for night missions, where navigation, movement, and reconnaissance are as vital as direct combat. Unlike other events, Razor Wire emphasizes these aspects.
