The warring states of Dursia and Balgia are locked in a stalemate.

Despite all predictions of a swift and inevitable collapse, Balgia has endured. The stubborn resistance of the small Balgian army, supported by OPB detachments, managed to halt the advance of the Dursian forces. The expected blitzkrieg campaign failed, and the conflict quickly turned into a grinding war of attrition.

While Balgia desperately seeks international support for de-escalation and a political solution, Dursia remains firmly determined to emerge from the crisis victorious. Hundreds of thousands have been mobilized, the economy has shifted onto a wartime footing, and the state is preparing for an offensive on a scale not seen before.

Beneath the surface, however, another conflict smolders, no less dangerous.

Tensions between Dursia’s secular leadership and the religious organization “True Faith” are rising. Who will determine the future of the Caliphate? Are the powerful state and the Hand of Abra truly united in this endeavor - or is their alliance only temporary and fragile?

Numerous illegal organizations continue to operate within the combat zone, each pursuing different objectives. Some support Balgia, others back “True Faith,” but all follow their own interests - often tied to influence, control, and profit.

The large-scale mobilization in Dursia fills the ranks of the armed forces, but it also generates a new wave of refugeesHunted by their own authorities and viewed with suspicion by others, thousands attempt to survive in the Border Zone and find a path toward a calmer and safer life.

Against this backdrop, rescue units have become a key factor in the survival of the civilian population. They operate actively and effectively within the combat zone — to the extent that Dursian command has issued a special order to members of “True Faith,” explicitly prohibiting attacks against rescue teams.

The war continues. The balance is fragile. And the fate of the region remains uncertain.
